Action Research Plan

Co- Teach Science Action Research Plan

Goal:   After reviewing the research on inclusion or co-teach classes I came up with a plethora of research proving the benefits for the special education population, however I could find no research on how it affected the learning of regular education students. My goal is to determine if co-teach or inclusion classes as beneficial to a regular education student as a non-co-teach classroom.

  1. I am very interested in hearing about your research. I have often thought the same thing. I served as a substitute after moving overseas and had to the opportunity to fill in as a para educator in the sped dept. They attend daily classes with student and co-teach. I found myself helping the "regular" students as well. It was also helpful for the classroom teacher. I felt like together we were able to answer more questions and check for understanding. I look forward to hearing about your findings. Best of luck to you!

  3. Your action research plan looks great; I know it is work in progress and you may revise it later. I recommend that you leave it as is. I am interested in reading your findings because my school can benefit from your action research topic.
